Player Development and Skills Coach

ABOUT

Eric Knodel serves as the Player Development and Skills Coach for the West Chester Wolves, bringing extensive professional experience to the role. Drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 5th round of the 2009 NHL Draft, Eric played in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and in the ECHL with the Orlando Solar Bears, Utah Grizzlies, and Cincinnati Cyclones—where he was named ECHL Defenseman of the Year in 2019. During his collegiate career at the University of New Hampshire, Eric captained the team and was named to the NCAA Hockey East Second Team All-Star in 2014.

In addition to his role with the Wolves, Eric serves as the Hockey Director for the Quakers Youth Program and manages PNY Arena. He plays a vital role in developing players across the NCDC, USPHL Premier, U18 AAA/Academy, and U16 AAA/Academy levels, leveraging his extensive playing experience and coaching expertise to support player growth and advancement.
