ABOUT

A native of Chatham, New Jersey, Brian played youth hockey with the New Jersey Penguins and Bridgewater Bears before graduating from Chatham High School, where he helped secure two New Jersey State Championships.

Brian began his junior hockey career with the New Jersey Renegades in the MetJHL before being traded to the Richmond Generals midway through the 2013–2014 season. He played two additional seasons with the Generals as they transitioned to the USPHL. As team captain in his final year, Brian recorded 8 goals and 23 assists in 44 games, finishing his Generals career with 80 games played, 43 points, and a strong reputation as a leader both on and off the ice.

Following his junior hockey career, Brian attended Castleton University, where he played NCAA Division III hockey while earning dual Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology. He appeared in 62 games for Castleton, contributing 4 goals and 4 assists. Known for his defensive play, penalty killing, and shot-blocking, Brian adapted his game to excel in these critical areas. He was also recognized for his academic success, earning NEHC All-Academic honors all four years and being named a Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar.

Brian began his coaching career in 2020 as an Assistant Coach for the Richmond Generals, working with their U18 AAA, Junior A Elite, and Junior A Premier teams in the USPHL over three seasons. During the 2023–2024 season, he served as the Head Coach of the Twin City Ice Mavericks U16 AAA team and the Associate Head Coach of their U18 AAA team. Additionally, he worked as a scout for the Twin City Thunder (NCDC) and the Olds Grizzlys (AJHL).
