ABOUT
Jake Slimm, a native of Blackwood, NJ, was a multi-sport athlete at Highland Regional High School, competing in both varsity soccer and ice hockey, while also playing travel hockey for various teams in the NJYHL. He continued his hockey career at Neumann University, where he played four years on the ACHA team. As team captain, Jake earned numerous accolades, including two All-Star selections, two All-American honors, and was part of teams that won two conference championships, two regional championships, and made two National Tournament appearances.
After earning his degree in Sport Management and Business Administration, Jake went on to play professionally in the FHL (now FPHL) with the Danville Dashers, helping lead the team to the Commissioner’s Cup finals.
Following his playing career, Jake transitioned into coaching at Neumann University, where he continues to mentor players both on and off the ice. To further enhance his coaching expertise, he became a nationally certified trainer and has served as a strength coach at Elite Edge in Malvern for the past two years. Passionate about fitness and health, Jake dedicates significant time to the weight room, jiu-jitsu gym, and yoga studio, constantly expanding his knowledge to help athletes reach their full potential.
