The West Chester Wolves continue to make their mark in the NCDC, with two players earning Atlantic Division Player of the Month honors for November. Defenseman Brayden Sprickman and goaltender Griffin Davis have been recognized for their exceptional performances, showcasing the talent and depth of the Wolves’ inaugural season roster.
Brayden Sprickman – Defenseman of the Month Sprickman ('05/Erie, Pa.) has quickly established himself as a standout in the Wolves’ defensive core in his first year of junior hockey. Transitioning from the Twin City Ice Mavericks AAA program, Sprickman has embraced the challenge, turning heads across the league.
The 18-year-old defenseman capped off November with a five-game point streak, finishing the month with a 1-7-8 scoring line. His contributions weren't just limited to the scoresheet; his poise and playmaking abilities helped drive the Wolves' success.
With 15 points in 23 games, Sprickman is now tied for sixth among NCDC defensemen in scoring. His 0.89 points-per-game pace last month solidified his place as a key player on both ends of the ice for the Wolves.
Griffin Davis – Goaltender of the Month Davis ('05/Nashua, N.H.) has been a wall in net for the Wolves during his second NCDC season and first with West Chester. November saw Davis rise to the occasion, securing six wins in seven starts and delivering a dominant .960 save percentage.
His stellar month included a 36-save shutout against the Rockets Hockey Club on November 22, marking his second career shutout. Overall, Davis turned aside 241 of 251 shots he faced during November, earning the confidence of his teammates and coaches alike.
As December begins, Davis is tied for the league lead in wins with 12, reinforcing his role as one of the top goaltenders in the league.
