The West Chester Wolves Academy continues to make waves on the international stage as two of its standout 2008-born players, Maxim Chudy and Viktor Gasparovic, have been selected to participate in the Slovak U17 National Team Training Camp in Piestany, Slovakia.
Both hailing from Bratislava, Chudy and Gasparovic have made significant strides during the 2024–25 season with the Wolves 16U AAA squad, helping lead the team to a strong campaign in the THF and NAT1HL leagues.
Chudy, a skilled left-shot forward, has been a driving force offensively, racking up 66 points (29G, 37A) in 50 games, while also adding 18 points across national league play. Prior to joining the Wolves, Chudy developed with HC Slovan Bratislava and gained valuable experience competing in Slovakia's U16 circuits.
Gasparovic, a steady and mobile left-shot defenseman, has been equally impressive on the back end. Known for his puck-moving ability and composure, he posted 35 points (11G, 24A) in 51 games, adding another 14 points in THF and NAT1HL contests. He previously suited up for HKL Bratislava before continuing his development in North America.
The Wolves organization congratulates Maxim and Viktor on this well-earned opportunity and is proud to see them representing their home country on the international stage.
