The West Chester Wolves brought their A-game to PNY Sports Arena on Saturday afternoon, delivering an impressive 7-3 victory over the Jersey Hitmen. A fast-paced opening period and relentless offensive efforts propelled the Wolves to their fourth win of the season.

West Chester wasted no time setting the tone. Charles Becnel opened the scoring at 8:42, converting feeds from Joshua Swan and Seiya Ishida. A power-play goal from Brady Huang extended the lead just minutes later, assisted by Brayden Sprickman and Bryan Weissler.

Logan Lambrecht and Connor Stokes added to the Wolves' tally late in the period, sending the home team to the locker room with a commanding 4-0 lead. The Wolves' first-period dominance silenced the Hitmen, who struggled to find their footing early on.

The Wolves' momentum continued in the second period, with Emil Szepesi finding the back of the net at 10:16, assisted by Cole Jackson and Anton Berg. Less than a minute later, Swan capitalized on a rebound for his first goal of the game, supported by Ishida and Liam O'Donoghue.

Bryan Alfieri capped off the period with a power-play goal at 14:38, his effort aided by Szepesi and captain Harrison Kinne. Though the Hitmen's Jake Baratta managed to put one on the board with five seconds left in the frame, the Wolves held a commanding 7-1 lead heading into the third.

The Jersey Hitmen found some life in the third period, capitalizing on a pair of power plays. Ryan Shea and Tyler Fogu each tallied goals, narrowing the deficit to 7-3. However, Wolves goaltender Griffin Davis stood tall, making several key saves to preserve the victory.

Griffin Davis recorded 43 saves on 46 shots, earning the win in net for the Wolves. Emil Szepesi and Seiya Ishida led the offense with multi-point games, while the defensive corps effectively neutralized the Hitmen’s attack.

Both teams had success on the power play, with the Wolves converting two of their five opportunities and the Hitmen going 2-for-10. Discipline proved to be a challenge for both sides, with a combined 43 penalty minutes handed out during the contest.
