Lyons, a 2008-born blueliner from Wheeling, WV, developed through the Pittsburgh Predators, Esmark Stars, and Tri-State Spartans programs while also competing at Wheeling Park High School. Known for his mobility and steady presence on the back end, he brings experience at both the 16U and 18U AAA levels, including appearances in the NAT1HL and EP Cup Series.
Head Coach Jacob Smulevitch spoke highly of Lyons’ addition to the Wolves: “Kaden is a reliable defenseman who brings poise and consistency to the ice. He defends hard, makes simple but effective plays, and has shown he can handle minutes in tough situations. We’re looking forward to helping him grow his game at the U18 level here in West Chester.”
Lyons’ size, composure, and experience against top-tier competition will strengthen the Wolves’ U18 defensive corps heading into the Academy season.
