Wolves Academy Forward Sam Rochette Earns QMJHL Training Camp Invite from Sherbrooke Phoenix

The West Chester Wolves Academy are proud to announce that U16 forward Sam Rochette has been invited to attend training camp with the Sherbrooke Phoenix of the QMJHL.

A native of Québec City, Rochette put together a standout 2025-26 season for the Wolves U16 AAA program, recording 93 points (41 goals, 52 assists) in 55 games while helping lead the team in multiple competitions throughout the year. The dynamic forward also saw action at higher levels, collecting two assists in his NCDC debut and earning time with the Wolves 18U AAA team.

Before arriving in West Chester, Rochette developed through Québec's highly competitive AAA system, producing strong offensive numbers at both the M15 and M17 levels. His invitation to Sherbrooke's training camp marks another milestone in his development and provides an opportunity to showcase his game in front of one of the premier organizations in the QMJHL.

"Sam's invitation is a reflection of the work he's put in every day since arriving at the Academy," said Academy Director Zach Cappelli. "He's a highly competitive player who consistently looks to improve his game. We're proud of what he's accomplished this season and excited to see him earn an opportunity with a respected organization like Sherbrooke."
