The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that goaltender Elijah Wiltshire has been selected as the USPHL Premier Atlantic Division’s Player of the Week for the games of Oct. 15-21.
Wiltshire, a 2005-born netminder from Palm Harbor, Fla., showcased his impressive skills between the pipes in a pair of critical matchups. Against the Canada Division-leading Hawkesbury Knights, Wiltshire was perfect, stopping all 43 shots he faced to secure a key victory for the Wolves.
Additionally, Wiltshire held his ground against the league-leading Charlotte Rush, making 33 saves on 36 shots in a hard-fought contest. His combined efforts over the weekend solidified his place as a standout player, bringing his record to 2-1-1-0 with an impressive .928 save percentage.
Premier Head Coach Brian Leonard said "Elijah’s focus and consistency have been game-changers for us. He always steps up when we need him most."
Wiltshire’s stellar performances have been crucial to the Wolves’ competitive edge in the USPHL Premier. Congratulations to Elijah Wiltshire on earning this well-deserved recognition!
