The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that forward Maddox Goudie has committed to Salem State University for the 2026–2027 season, where he will compete at the NCAA Division III level.

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Goudie has been a steady presence in the Wolves lineup, bringing a strong two-way game, physicality, and consistency throughout his time in the NCDC. During the 2025–2026 season, he recorded 30 points (12G, 18A) in 53 games, continuing to build on his development at the junior level. He won the Wolves Team Award this season for “Most Improved Player” which was voted on by his teammates and coaches.

Goudie’s path to the NCAA level reflects years of dedication, including time with the Washington Little Caps, Boston Hockey Academy, and the Richmond Generals before advancing to the NCDC with the New Jersey Rockets and ultimately the West Chester Wolves.

“Maddox earned this opportunity through his work ethic and commitment to improving every day,” said R.C. Lyke. “He plays the game the right way, possesses a strong Hockey IQ, and brings a very high compete level that will translate very well for him at the NCAA level of play. Salem State is getting a reliable 200 ft player who does all the little things and can be counted on to play in all situations.”

Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo added, “Maddox is the type of player coaches trust in all situations. Maddox has worked extremely hard over the last two seasons to improve the offensive side of his game. We’re excited to see what he accomplishes at Salem State.”

The Wolves organization congratulates Maddox and his family on this achievement and looks forward to following his continued success at the collegiate level.
