The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce the re-signing of 15-year-old forward Preston Handy to the u16 roster. Standing 5’9” and weighing 141 lbs, the left-shot forward from Lynchburg, VA returns after making a strong impact in his first season of u16 AAA hockey.
Handy posted 30 points in 50 games during the 2024–25 season, adding another six points in league play. Prior to joining the Wolves, he was a standout with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs 14U AA, where he scored over 50 points in just 32 games.
“Preston returns to the Wolves after his first season of u16 AAA,” said u16 Head Coach Brennan Luckanish. “Preston’s ability to read plays and execute on his chances will make him a very valuable player to any team. I’m thrilled to have Preston back with us for this upcoming season. I expect Preston to be a leader in all facets of our team.”
With his speed, vision, and scoring touch, Handy is expected to be a key contributor as the Wolves u16 squad looks to raise the bar this season.
