West Chester Wolves forward Sam Rochette has been named the NCDC Rookie of the Week after an impressive debut performance this past weekend.
The Quebec native made an immediate impact, tallying two assists in his first NCDC appearance — one on the opening goal of the game and another on the power play.
Rochette’s call-up from the Wolves Academy U16 team marks a major milestone in his development, showcasing the strength of the Wolves’ player pathway from Academy to the NCDC level.
“Sam stepped in and played with confidence beyond his age,” said Wolves General Manager R.C. Lyke. “He’s a great example of what our program is all about — developing players who are ready to compete at the next level.”
With his strong debut, Rochette has officially announced his arrival to the NCDC — and the future looks bright for this young forward.
