The West Chester Wolves are excited to announce the addition of goaltender Nello Torriero to the U16 Academy roster.
A Pittsburgh, PA native, Torriero brings a proven track record between the pipes with experience across multiple top programs, including Florida Alliance and Palm Beach Hawks. Last season, he posted a .921 save percentage in tournament play while showing consistency at the 15O AAA level with Florida Alliance North.
Standing 5’9” and catching left, Torriero is known for his quick reflexes, calm presence, and ability to rise to the challenge in big-game moments. His experience competing against top-tier talent will be a major boost to the Wolves’ goaltending core this season.

Head Coach Brennan Luckanish shared his thoughts on the new addition: “Nello joins the Wolves from the Florida Alliance U15 program. He is a proven goaltender at the AAA level. His agility and ability to read plays is very impressive for someone of his age. We’re excited to have him in West Chester and believe he’ll be a difference-maker for our U16 Academy team.”
Torriero is ready to make his mark in the THF, UT1HL, and PPHL this season.
