Top of the Pack - Leonard Named Atlantic Division Coach of the Year

The West Chester Wolves Premier team continues to make history in its second season, as Head Coach Brian Leonard has been named the USPHL Premier Atlantic Division Coach of the Year.

Leonard led the Wolves to an outstanding 36-6-1-1 record, finishing with 74 points and securing the Atlantic Division title. Under his leadership, the Wolves quickly established themselves as one of the top programs in the league, combining high-end offensive production with structure, discipline, and consistency in all three zones.

In just his second season behind the bench in West Chester, Leonard’s impact was immediate. His ability to build a winning culture, develop players, and get buy-in from the entire roster played a major role in the team’s success throughout the regular season and into the postseason.

Prior to joining the Wolves, Leonard built a strong coaching résumé with the Richmond Generals organization and at the AAA level, while also gaining experience as a scout at the junior and collegiate levels. That diverse background translated seamlessly into his role with the Wolves, helping guide a roster that balanced skill, depth, and compete level night in and night out.

“This is a reflection of the work our entire group has put in all season,” said Leonard. “Our players have bought into what we’re building here from day one, and our staff has done an incredible job supporting them. It’s been a special year for our organization.”

With this recognition, Leonard adds another milestone to what has already been a historic season for the Wolves Premier team, further solidifying the foundation for continued success in West Chester.
