West Chester Wolves Academy Appoints Jacob Smulevitch as 18U Head Coach for 2025-26 Season

The West Chester Wolves Academy proudly announces the hiring of Jacob Smulevitch as the Head Coach of the 18U Academy team for the 2025-26 season. Smulevitch joins the Wolves from the Casper Warbirds (NCDC), where he served as Head Coach during the 2024-25 campaign.
A native of Fishers, Indiana, Smulevitch brings extensive junior coaching experience across multiple USPHL levels, having held coaching roles with the Columbia Infantry, Charlotte Rush, Charleston Colonials, and Wausau RiverWolves. His coaching résumé includes multiple seasons as a Head Coach at both the USPHL Elite and Premier levels, as well as recent experience in the Tier II NCDC.
As a player, Smulevitch patrolled the blue line for Ball State University (ACHA), known for his physical presence and leadership on the ice.
“We’re excited to bring in a coach with Jacob’s track record of player development and leadership,” said Wolves President Joe Tarpy. “He’s committed to building a competitive, disciplined 18U program and preparing our athletes for the next step in their hockey journey.”
With a proven track record in junior hockey, Jacob aims to elevate the Wolves’ 18U program and prepare athletes for the demands of the next level.
