The West Chester Wolves are excited to announce the addition of new members to their medical team for the 2024-2025 season, ensuring that the players will receive top-notch care both on and off the ice. Joining the Wolves this year are the renowned Beatty Harris Sports Medicine as team doctors and Precision Performance Physical Therapy as athletic trainers and physical therapists.
Beatty Harris Sports Medicine, co-founded by Dr. Tricia Beatty and Dr. Allen Harris, brings a wealth of experience to the Wolves. Both physicians are board-certified in Sports Medicine, and their shared passion for patient-centered care stems from their own experiences as former Division I athletes. Dr. Beatty, a former competitive gymnast and NCAA diver, and Dr. Harris, a former Division I National Champion gymnast, understand the unique demands of elite-level sports. Their extensive medical background includes serving as team physicians for high-profile teams like the Philadelphia Union and the University of Delaware, making them well-equipped to handle hockey's fast-paced and physical nature.
Adding to the Wolves’ medical support is Dr. Jon Herting of Precision Performance Physical Therapy. With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Herting is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning coach who has worked with athletes ranging from adolescents to Olympians. His holistic approach to rehabilitation, combined with his strength and conditioning expertise, ensures that players not only recover but come back stronger.
Dr. Herting’s team focuses on quick results and long-term outcomes, ensuring that the Wolves are in the best possible shape throughout the season.
