The West Chester Wolves Academy is proud to announce that U16 AAA team captain Trace Whitlock has been tendered by the West Chester Wolves NCDC team for the 2025-26 season.
A native of Bowmanville, Ontario, Whitlock joined the Wolves Academy ahead of the 2024-25 season and quickly made an impact. The dynamic forward posted an impressive 90 points (42G, 48A) in 51 games with the Wolves U16 AAA squad while also earning opportunities with the Wolves 18U team.

“Trace plays the game with a high pace using his skill set and hockey IQ to make plays and put up points,” said Wolves NCDC Head Coach R.C. Lyke. “His leadership and commitment to getting better every day stood out. We’re excited to continue working with him at the next level.”
Before arriving in West Chester, Whitlock developed with the Clarington Toros and spent time with the Twin City Ice Mavericks, bringing a well-rounded game and a strong hockey IQ to the Wolves organization.
“Trace has been the heart of our U16 team from the moment he walked in the door,” said Academy U16 Head Coach Brennan Luckanish. “He’s a true captain—leads by example on and off the ice—and he earned this opportunity with his drive and consistency.”
The Wolves Academy congratulates Trace and his family on this exciting next step in his hockey journey.
