Mountain State Bound: Jurman Commits to West Virginia University ACHA Division I Program

The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that forward Brody Jurman has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey at West Virginia University.

A native of Walden, New York, Jurman joined the Wolves during the 2025-26 season and immediately made an impact. After arriving in West Chester from the Elmira Impact, the 6-foot-2, 201-pound winger elevated his game down the stretch, recording 19 points (11 goals, 8 assists) in just 11 regular-season games with the Wolves. He continued his strong play into the postseason, adding 9 points in 10 playoff contests.

Known for his size, scoring touch, and ability to produce in key moments, Jurman became an important piece of the Wolves' offense during their playoff run. His combination of skill and physicality helped him develop into one of the team's most dangerous forwards while showcasing the attributes that will make him successful at the collegiate level.

"Brody came in and made an immediate impact on our lineup," said Wolves Premier Head Coach Brian Leonard. "He's a player who competes hard every night, has a great scoring touch, and brings a physical presence that is difficult to play against. We're excited to see him continue his hockey career at West Virginia University and know he'll be a great addition to their program."

Prior to joining the Wolves, Jurman enjoyed a productive junior career that included a 36-point season with the Jersey Hitmen during the 2024-25 campaign. His continued development throughout his time in junior hockey has paved the way for this next opportunity.
