The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce the re-signing of 16-year-old defenseman Nolan Schubert to the u16 roster. The 5’7”, 146-pound left-shot blueliner from Lynchburg, VA made a strong impression after joining the Wolves midway through last season.

Schubert’s 2024–25 campaign saw him split time between the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs 16U A and the Wolves 16U AAA, where his defensive play and puck-moving ability quickly earned him a regular role. His hockey foundation was built with the Lynchburg Coyotes, and he continues to showcase steady growth in all areas of his game.

“Nolan was another player who joined halfway through the season last year,” said u16 Head Coach Brennan Luckanish. “Nolan’s development in the few months that he was with us was truly astounding. His dedication to his craft is very impressive and I believe he will have a huge influence on our success this season.”

With a full season ahead, Schubert is poised to be a key contributor to the Wolves blue line in 2025–26.
