Wolves Edge Thunderbirds in Overtime Thriller on Day 2 of THF Showcase

The West Chester Wolves U18 Academy team pulled off a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory against the Colorado Thunderbirds on Day 2 of the THF Showcase at Palmer Imaging Arena. This win propels the Wolves to a perfect 2-0-0 record in the tournament.
The Wolves struck first, with Nolan Roughsedge opening the scoring at 12:56 of the first period off a setup from Brady Wilson. However, the Thunderbirds responded swiftly with two goals from Broxton Ingle and Jack Hannock, taking a 2-1 lead. West Chester's Markus Lunski tied it up at 1:51, assisted by Quinn Simmons.
The second period saw no scoring, but the Wolves regained momentum in the third when Jacob Heron scored at 9:34 to give West Chester a 3-2 lead. The Thunderbirds quickly equalized with another goal from Ingle, sending the game into overtime.
In the extra frame, Brady Wilson became the hero, scoring the game-winner at 4:11 to secure a 4-3 victory for the Wolves.
