The West Chester Wolves NCDC team battled hard but fell short against the P.A.L. Junior Islanders, suffering an 8-1 defeat at home. Despite the spirited efforts from the Wolves, the visiting team maintained control from the start, displaying a relentless offense and strong defensive structure.

The Islanders came out firing, putting up three goals in the first period. Devin Niles opened the scoring at 2:28, and Robert Lachance followed shortly after with another tally at 3:55. Ryan McKenna rounded out the period with a short-handed goal at 7:27, giving the Islanders an early lead.

The Wolves continued to press in the second period, with Owen Norman finally finding the back of the net at 10:41, assisted by Brady Huang. However, the Islanders quickly responded with three more goals before the end of the period, further widening the gap.

Goaltenders Sebastian Pribula and Lorenzo Rossi shared the workload for the Wolves, with Pribula starting the game and Rossi taking over midway through the second. Despite their best efforts, the Islanders’ offense proved relentless, adding two more goals in the final period to secure the win.
