West Chester, PA – The West Chester Wolves secured a solid 4-1 win over the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights on Friday afternoon at PNY Sports Arena. A strong team effort and steady goaltending from Luca Torriero led the way for the Wolves.

The Knights opened the scoring early with a goal from Owen Fleming just two minutes into the game. However, Connor Stokes evened the score at 3:38 of the first period, assisted by Reed Richeson.

In the second period, Bryan Weissler gave the Wolves the lead at 1:43, set up by Anton Berg. Berg added another goal just a few minutes later at 4:58, with assists from Brayden Sprickman and Philip Gamper.

Stokes closed out the scoring with an empty-net, shorthanded goal late in the third period, with help from Harrison Kinne and Liam O'Donoghue.

Luca Torriero made 25 saves in net, keeping the Knights off the scoreboard after the first period. The Wolves' penalty kill was effective, preventing any scoring opportunities on the Knights' lone power play.
