The West Chester Wolves took on the Jersey Hitmen on October 5, 2024, at Ice Vault Rink 2, in what turned out to be a low-scoring, hard-fought contest.

Both teams played a physical and disciplined defensive game. The opening period ended scoreless as both goalies were sharp early. Wolves netminder Sebastian Pribula made 12 saves in the first period alone, while Jersey’s Jack Kavetsky turned away 16 shots over the course of the game to secure the shutout.

The only goal of the night came in the second period on a power play. With just over two minutes remaining, Jersey's Tyler Fogu capitalized on a man advantage, assisted by Wilson Farrow and Breyden Zupsansky, to give the Hitmen a 1-0 lead.

Despite multiple power-play opportunities, including three for the Wolves, neither team could generate much offense. The Wolves had a few close chances, but Kavetsky remained impenetrable, stopping all 27 shots. Pribula was solid as well, finishing the game with 25 saves, but the lack of scoring support was the difference.

Special teams played a key role, with the Wolves unable to convert on three power-play opportunities, while the Hitmen went 1 for 4.
