West Chester, PA – The West Chester Wolves faced the Connecticut Junior Rangers at the PNY Sports Arena on Sunday afternoon, battling hard but ultimately falling 4-1 in a contest marked by physical play and standout performances on both sides.

After a scoreless start, the Junior Rangers opened the scoring late in the first period with a goal from Brian Delumen at 12:43. The Wolves' defense worked tirelessly to keep the game within reach, but the Rangers capitalized on their chances in the second period, adding two more goals, including a power-play tally by Seth Wall.

West Chester found a spark midway through the second when Connor Stokes broke through with a highlight-reel goal assisted by Brayden Sprickman. Stokes' effort gave the Wolves a much-needed boost, but the Rangers’ defense and goaltending proved difficult to overcome.

The Junior Rangers sealed their win with a final goal early in the third period from Trevor Stenglein. The Wolves showed grit until the last whistle, with physicality escalating late in the game as both teams exchanged penalties, including a fight involving Wolves defenseman Nico Pasquale.

Goaltender Griffin Davis stood tall in net for the Wolves, facing consistent pressure and making key saves to give his team a chance. However, the Wolves' power play struggled to find its rhythm, going 0-for-2 on the day.
