Wolves NCDC take Railers to shootout in game 1 of the Jersey Hitmen Classic

In a tight contest between the West Chester Wolves and the Worcester Railers JHC, the game ended in a dramatic shootout, with the Railers coming out on top 3-2.

The Wolves started strong, opening the scoring just 53 seconds into the first period when Anton Berg found the back of the net, assisted by Owen Norman and Aaron Bleier. Worcester answered in the second period with two goals: Brett Wall at 1:34, followed by Jace Koenigsmark’s tally at 17:55. The Wolves responded on the power play at 16:47, with Charles Becnel capitalizing, assisted by Emil Szepesi and Joshua Swan, tying the game at 2-2.

Both teams battled through a scoreless third period and overtime, leading to a shootout. The Railers' Ben Jarosz was the lone scorer, securing the win.

Worcester’s Cole Scullion made 35 saves, while West Chester’s Lorenzo Rossi stopped 25 shots in a solid effort.
