West Chester Wolves rookie defenseman Jacksen Suttie has been recognized as the NCDC Atlantic Division Rookie of the Week after a strong start to his first season.
The 17-year-old Kelowna, BC native recorded two assists in Sunday’s 5-2 win over the Connecticut Jr. Rangers, marking his first multi-point game in the league.
Suttie joins the Wolves from RINK Hockey Academy in Kelowna and the Nelson Leafs (KIJHL), bringing experience from some of Canada’s top development programs. In his first three NCDC games, he has already shown confidence with the puck and steady play on the blue line.
This honor highlights Suttie’s early impact as the Wolves continue to build momentum in their second year in the NCDC.
