The West Chester Wolves U16 team faced a tough challenge on Day 2 of the THF Showcase, falling 6-3 to PBK 16U at Palmer Imaging Arena.

PBK took an early lead with Linden Keith scoring at 15:32 of the first period, assisted by Aidan Sheaffer and Carson Widener. Despite a slow start, the Wolves fought back in the second period when Alexander Khamichonak netted their first goal at 8:17, with assists from Gavin Andersen and Sawyer Getz.

However, PBK responded swiftly with Noah Westermann’s goal at the 24-second mark of the second period, giving them a 2-1 lead heading into the final frame.

The Wolves showed resilience in the third period, as Maxim Chudy scored unassisted at 15:57, followed by Khamichonak’s second goal at 12:22, tying the game 3-3. But PBK’s offense surged, with Dominic Raineri scoring the game-winning goal at 8:48, followed by additional goals from Zachary Dix and Stephen Davis to seal the 6-3 win.

Despite the loss, the Wolves generated strong offensive pressure with 33 shots on goal, but PBK goaltender Daniel Rosenstock stood tall. Wolves goalie Robert Cavalcante faced 39 shots, making several key saves, though PBK’s persistent attack proved too much.
