The West Chester Wolves U18 squad delivered an impressive performance Thursday night, defeating the 95 Giants in a commanding 7-2 win. The Wolves controlled the game from the opening faceoff, with contributions from multiple players, showcasing their offensive depth and defensive resilience.

Leading the charge offensively were Dmitri Halauko (#19), Brady Wilson (#88), Quinn Simmons (#9), and Luka Tomasic (#11). All four players finished the game with a goal and two assists each, spreading the scoring wealth and setting up their teammates with pinpoint passes.

Halauko opened the scoring with a wrist shot from the slot, assisted by Tomasic and Simmons, setting the tone for the Wolves. Wilson soon followed up, capitalizing on a turnover in the offensive zone to make it 2-0.

The 95 Giants managed to get one back, but the Wolves quickly responded. Jacob Heron (#6), Chase Kerr (#18), and Cole Trainor (#23) each found the back of the net, keeping the Wolves firmly in control. Heron's power-play tally, assisted by Halauko, pushed the Wolves to a comfortable lead heading into the final frame.

Tomasic capped off the night with a goal of his own in the third period, assisted by Wilson, to seal the 7-2 victory.

While the offense stole the show, goaltender Jacob Aranda put in a solid performance between the pipes, turning aside 23 of 25 shots. His composure and key saves kept the 95 Giants from gaining any real momentum throughout the game. The Wolves’ defense also did an excellent job limiting high-danger chances, allowing Aranda to see most of the shots from a distance.
