The West Chester Wolves Academy U18 team is headed to Wayne, NJ, for a showdown with the New Jersey Hitmen at Ice Vault Arena. The series kicks off on Saturday, September 13 at 7:30 PM and the showdown continues into Sunday, September 14 with the puck drop at 1:45 PM.
The Wolves bring a deep lineup into the weekend. On the blue line, Derek Krizman and Hunter Richards add size and strength, while Sam Kane contributes mobility and puck movement. Veteran presence from Alexei Myasnikov and young talents like Declan Herr and Corbin Vierkoetter give the Wolves balance on defense. With a high compete level and a nose for the puck, Gannon Driscoll brings a relentless work ethic every shift. He’s not only creating scoring chances but also setting the tone with his energy on both ends of the ice.
Tonight the West Chester Wolves lean on the dynamite scorer to bring energy, offense, and game-changing moments: Parker Handy, who returns to the U18 team after an outstanding U16 campaign, where he notched 52 points (21 goals, 31 assists) in 38 games. He’s known for his speed, ability to make plays in tight spaces, and a knack for stepping up when it counts. Also supporting up front, fans can expect heavy contributions from forwards like Michael Sheridan and Cooper Rodgers, who bring net-front presence and power.
Head Coach Jacob Smulevitch knows the Hitmen will test his group, “New Jersey plays with structure and physicality, and that’s exactly why this series matters. We want to see who can rise to the challenge, battle through adversity, and prove they can play Wolves hockey at the highest pace.”
With two games in two days, the Wolves will be pushed to show consistency, toughness, and depth across their roster.
