The West Chester Wolves Academy is making franchise history this weekend as both the U18 and U16 squads cross the border into Canada for the first time ever to compete in the PPHL Canada Showcase. It’s a milestone moment for the program — a true test, a statement opportunity, and a chance for Wolves hockey to leave its mark on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
Both Academy teams will battle three elite prep programs: Hill Academy, Okanagan Hockey Academy, and Ontario Hockey Academy. For many Wolves players, this will be their first international competition — and the perfect environment to showcase the Academy’s rising talent, physical style, and growing presence in the prep hockey landscape.
U18 Schedule – PPHL Canada Showcase
Fri, Dec 5 — vs Hill Academy, 4:30 PM
Sat, Dec 6 — vs Okanagan Hockey Academy, 1:20 PM
Sun, Dec 7 — vs Ontario Hockey Academy, 10:30 AM
U16 Schedule – PPHL Canada Showcase
Fri, Dec 5 — vs Bishop's College School, 6:50 PM
Sat, Dec 6 — vs Okanagan Hockey Academy, 11:10 AM
Sun, Dec 7 — vs Ontario Hockey Academy, 8:20 AM
With both squads dialed in and ready for the challenge, the Wolves Academy is set to show Canada exactly what American grit looks like. The hunt continues — and this time, it’s international.
