Wolves Academy Heads to Pittsburgh for THF Showcase

The West Chester Wolves Academy U16 and U18 teams are heading to Pittsburgh this weekend to take on some of the top competition in the Tier 1 Hockey Federation. 

The Wolves U16 squad kicks off their weekend on Friday, September 19, against the Queen City Royals at Palmer Imaging Arena. They’ll be right back at it Saturday morning against the Ohio Prospects, followed by a 8:40 PM showdown with the Mercer Chiefs. The weekend wraps Sunday morning against the South Hills Panthers at Pittsburgh Ice Arena.

The Wolves U18 team opens bright and early on Friday morning, taking on the Chicago Phantoms at Palmer Imaging Arena. Later that evening, they face OHA before closing out the weekend with two more heavyweight matchups: the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies on Saturday night and the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes Sunday morning at Pittsburgh Ice Arena.

With four games each and a chance to measure themselves against elite programs from across the country, the Wolves are set to put their culture, speed, and grit on full display.
