Wolves Academy Set for Busy Final Weekend Before Christmas Break

The West Chester Wolves Academy teams are gearing up for a packed weekend of competition as both U18 and U16 squads take the ice one final time before the Christmas break. With multiple matchups across three days, the Wolves will look to close out the pre-holiday stretch with strong performances and continued development inside the THF schedule.
The Wolves U18 group opens the weekend with a home matchup against a familiar opponent before hitting the road and then returning to PNY to wrap things up.
Friday, Dec. 19 – vs Palmyra Black Knights | 12:00 PM | PNY Sports Arena
The weekend begins at home as the Wolves face the Palmyra Black Knights in THF action. It’s a chance for the U18s to set the tone early and establish pace in front of the home crowd.
Saturday, Dec. 20 – at Flyers Elite BBNA | 2:00 PM | Flyers Skate Zone
Saturday brings a road challenge against Flyers Elite BBNA. The matchup will test the Wolves’ ability to stay structured and compete away from home against a skilled opponent.
Sunday, Dec. 21 – vs Palmyra Black Knights | 5:15 PM | PNY Arena
The U18s close the weekend right back where they started, hosting Palmyra once again. With familiarity on both sides, execution and discipline will be key in the final game before the break.
The Wolves U16 team also faces a demanding three-game slate, mixing home ice energy with a Saturday night road battle.
Friday, Dec. 19 – vs Palmyra Black Knights | 10:00 AM | PNY Sports Arena
An early puck drop kicks off the weekend for the U16s, as they host Palmyra at PNY. It’s an opportunity to start fast and establish confidence heading into the weekend.
Saturday, Dec. 20 – vs Red Bank Generals | 6:30 PM | The Armory
The Wolves travel to The Armory on Saturday night to take on the Red Bank Generals. Road games like this provide a strong measuring stick for growth and compete level.
Sunday, Dec. 21 – vs Palmyra Black Knights | 7:15 PM | PNY Sports Arena
The U16s finish the weekend back on home ice against Palmyra, closing out the pre-holiday schedule with a late-night matchup at PNY.
With six total games across three days, the weekend will challenge both Wolves Academy teams physically and mentally. As the calendar turns toward Christmas break, the focus remains on development, consistency, and finishing the first half of the season the right way.
