The West Chester Wolves put up a strong effort but fell 3-1 to the Boston Jr. Rangers on Saturday at Ice Vault Rink. The Wolves kept it close with a power-play goal in the second period, but Boston’s special teams and solid goaltending made the difference.

Boston opened the scoring with a power-play goal from Luca Restauri in the first period, then added another in the second courtesy of Turner Richards. The Wolves responded with a power-play tally of their own, as Joshua Swan found the net off assists from Brayden Sprickman and Seiya Ishida at 7:46 of the second.

Despite a surge of offensive pressure and 49 shots on goal, the Wolves couldn’t break through Boston's Stephen Chen, who delivered an outstanding performance between the pipes. The Jr. Rangers sealed the game with a third-period goal from Mathieu Fournier.

West Chester goaltender Sebastian Pribula made 27 saves in the loss.
