The West Chester Wolves Premier team absolutely tore through the weekend, outscoring opponents 17–3 over two nights and extending their hot streak in commanding fashion.
Game 1: Wolves 12 – Renegades 3 (October 4 @ SportsCare Arena)
The Wolves came out firing on all cylinders Saturday night, torching the New Jersey Renegades in a 12-3 blowout. From the first drop of the puck, Wolves dictated the pace — scoring five goals in the opening period alone.
FIRST PERIOD: Shane Dachowski started the party at 11:29, burying one off a feed from Damien Pongklub and Hunter Baughan. After that, it was open season — goals poured in from Ryunosuke Shirozu, Dylan Eifert, Aaron Shanks, and Titus Keyes, giving the Wolves a commanding 5-0 lead before the first intermission.
SECOND PERIOD: The Wolves followed through with the same electric energy from the first. Shirozu added his second goal of the night, while Ivan Nadtochiev and Tegan Brown joined the scoresheet.
THIRD PERIOD: The Wolves were running wild. Keyes found his second, Jacob Desjardins buried a slick setup from Alexei Spence, and Shanks netted his second of the game. Matthew Foerster capped it off with a buzzer-beater at 59.7 seconds left, closing out one of the most dominant offensive showings of the season.
Goaltender Demetri Mavromichalis handled business in net, stopping 9 of 12 shots in the win.
Game 2: Wolves 5 – Generals 0 (October 5 @ PNY Sports Arena)
Less than 24 hours later, the Wolves showed they weren’t done — shutting out the Red Bank Generals 5–0 on home ice.
FIRST PERIOD: Ryunosuke Shirozu stayed hot, opening the scoring in the first off a setup from Titus Keyes and Logan Gee. Max McKay took over in the second period with back-to-back goals, showing serious chemistry with Keyes and Louka Dorgere.
THIRD PERIOD: Damien Pongklub extended the lead off a perfect feed from Dachowski, and Hunter Baughan sealed it with a late dagger in the final seconds.
The story of the night goes to goalie Elijah Wiltshire — who stood on his head with a 40-save shutout, earning every bit of the team’s postgame celebration.
The Wolves’ offense is buzzing, their goaltending is dialed in, and their confidence is sky-high heading into the next stretch of the season.
