After a breakout season on the blue line, the Wolves Premier alternate captain is headed to the next level.
West Chester Wolves defenseman Finn McGolrick has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey at Missouri State University, continuing his hockey career after two strong seasons in the Wolves organization.
Originally from Mission Viejo, California, McGolrick became a key piece of the Wolves Premier defensive core during the 2025-26 season. The right-shot defenseman posted 41 points (8G, 33A) in 37 regular season games while adding five points during the playoffs, helping lead the Wolves to a USPHL Premier Atlantic Division Championship and a Nationals appearance. He also earned time at the NCDC level, appearing in 13 games for the Wolves. His play this season earned him USPHL Atlantic Division Defenseman of the Year.

Over the course of his junior career in West Chester, McGolrick developed into one of the top two-way defensemen in the division. Known for his puck movement, composure under pressure, and offensive instincts from the back end, Finn consistently played in big moments while taking on a leadership role within the locker room.
“Finn put in a tremendous amount of work during his time with us and earned this opportunity every step of the way,” said Wolves Premier Head Coach Brian Leonard. “He became a huge part of our culture and success this season. Missouri State is getting a reliable defenseman and an even better teammate. We’re proud of him and excited to see what he accomplishes at the next level.”
McGolrick’s commitment continues the Wolves’ mission of advancing players to higher levels of hockey and education while developing both on and off the ice.
The Wolves organization congratulates Finn and his family on this accomplishment and wishes him the best at Missouri State.
