The West Chester Wolves Premier team secured a commanding 7-3 victory over the Jersey Hitmen at the PNY Sports Arena, backed by a relentless offense and solid goaltending by John Feeley. The win highlights the Wolves’ offensive depth, with contributions from multiple lines and strong defensive work limiting the Hitmen’s scoring opportunities.
The Wolves set the tone early in the first period, with Nolan Huntley breaking the ice at 9:54, assisted by Nathan Lavallee and Aidan Urie. Less than a minute later, Will McLaughlin added to the lead with a goal from Jacob Emmanuel and Andrew Farley. The Wolves continued to press, and at 19:41, Danil Nikiforov capitalized with a goal, assisted by Lavallee and Urie, sending the team into the second period with a 3-1 advantage.
The second period saw West Chester extend their lead with a goal from Breydon Webster at 3:32, assisted by Titus Keyes and Finn McGolrick. The Wolves took advantage of a power play opportunity at 8:26, with Keyes scoring, assisted by Emmanuel and Nathaniel Boeckle. Closing out the period with a sixth goal, Nikiforov netted his second of the game at 19:47 with assists from Urie and Webster, giving the Wolves a comfortable 6-2 edge.
In the third period, the Hitmen attempted to rally with a power play goal from Michal Nawrot at 7:12. However, Lavallee struck back for West Chester at 17:09, assisted by Nikiforov and Webster, to solidify the Wolves’ victory.
Goaltender John Feeley stood tall in net, making 23 saves and keeping the Hitmen’s offense in check. West Chester’s power play also contributed, converting two of five opportunities, while the penalty kill minimized the impact of the Hitmen’s man-advantage situations.
