November 8, 2024 — The West Chester Wolves Premier team emerged victorious over the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights with a spirited 5-3 comeback win at Revolution Ice Centre. Despite falling behind early, the Wolves rallied in the second and third period, driven by standout performances and timely power-play conversions.

The Wolves faced a tough start, conceding two goals in the first period to the Knights, who got on the board with goals from Koichiro Matsudaira and Jeremy Lamothe. Wilkes-Barre Scranton held a solid 2-0 lead heading into the second, but the Wolves weren't deterred.

Midway through the second period, Andrew Farley scored the Wolves' first goal on a power play, assisted by Breydon Webster and Titus Keyes. Shortly after, Danil Nikiforov tied the game, with assists from Max McKay and Webster. However, the Knights briefly regained the lead when Owen Fleming scored with under two minutes left in the period. The Wolves entered the final period down 3-2 but with clear momentum.

In the third, West Chester came alive. Nathan Lavallee scored early, tying the game with assists from Aidan Urie and Nikiforov. Later, Urie capitalized on a power play, assisted by Nikiforov and McKay, pushing the Wolves ahead 4-3. To seal the game, Yianni Tsatsoulis scored an empty-netter in the final minutes, solidifying the Wolves' 5-3 victory.

Goaltender Elijah Wiltshire was a key factor in the Wolves' win, making 33 saves and holding off a late surge by the Knights in the final frame. The Wolves' penalty kill was perfect, keeping the Knights scoreless on two power-play attempts while capitalizing on two of their four chances.
