The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that NCDC forward Philip Gamper has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Arcadia University, where he will compete at the NCAA Division III level.
A native of Vienna, Austria, Gamper arrived in North America with a reputation for skill, work ethic, and offensive upside. After developing through the Okanagan Hockey Academy system in Europe and later spending time in the USPHL Premier, he joined the Wolves organization and quickly became a valuable contributor.
After appearing in both the Premier and NCDC levels with West Chester, Gamper established himself as a reliable two-way forward in the NCDC lineup. During the 2025-26 season, he recorded 14 points in 46 games while bringing consistency, energy, and a team-first mentality every night.

“Philip is the type of player every coach wants in their lineup and on their team,” said R.C. Lyke. “He came to the rink every day ready to work, embraced coaching, and continued to improve throughout his time with us. We’re proud of everything he accomplished here and excited to see him earn this opportunity at Arcadia.
Wolves Associate Head Coach and Assistant General Manager Tyler Casillo echoed those sentiments.
“Philip’s commitment is a testament to his dedication both on and off the ice,” said Casillo. “He made the most of his time in our program and represented the Wolves organization the right way. Arcadia is getting a tremendous person, teammate, and student-athlete.”
Gamper becomes the latest Wolves player to advance to the collegiate ranks, continuing the organization's commitment to player development and advancement.
The entire Wolves family congratulates Philip and his family on this well-deserved accomplishment and wishes him the best of luck at Arcadia University.
