Hometown Talent Staying Home - Wolves Tender West Chester Native Blake Platz

The West Chester Wolves NCDC team is proud to announce the tendering of forward Blake Platz for the 2026-27 season.

A native of West Chester, PA, Platz joins the Wolves after continuing to establish himself as one of the top local products in the region. The 2007-born forward brings speed, offensive ability, and a relentless compete level to the Wolves lineup heading into next season.

Platz most recently skated for the North Jersey Avalanche 18U AAA program, where he recorded 18 points in 21 AYHL games while adding another four points in four T1EHL playoff contests. Prior to that, he developed through the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers organization and starred at Henderson High School, where he exploded for 44 points in just 16 games during the 2024-25 season.

Known for his skating ability and offensive instincts, Platz has consistently produced at every level while earning a reputation as a hardworking, high-character player.

“Blake is an extremely fast skater who knows how to score and put up points. He was named to the AYHL All-Star team this past season for his standout performance,” said Wolves Head Coach & GM R.C. Lyke. “He is another high character young man who brings a great work ethic and compete level to our program. When Blake suits up for the Wolves next year, he will be the first Quakers Youth Hockey alumni to play for our NCDC program.”

The Wolves organization is excited to welcome another local player into the program and look forward to seeing Platz continue his development in West Chester.
