The West Chester Wolves Premier program will be well represented on the national stage this January, as forwards Max McKay and defenseman Jacob Desjardins have been named to the 2026 USPHL Premier All-Star Games.
The United States Premier Hockey League All-Star rosters feature top players from across the league. The annual event will take place January 26–27, 2026, at the Foxboro Sports Center in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with teams representing the West, South, East, and North divisions, along with two 18U All-Star squads.
McKay, a Rochester, NY native, has been a driving force for the Wolves this season. Through 30 games in the 2025–26 campaign, the 20-year-old forward has posted 46 points (19G, 27A), showcasing his offensive instincts, pace, and ability to impact games in all situations. His continued production has made him one of the most dangerous forwards in the Premier Division.
Desjardins, a 17-year-old defenseman from Ottawa, Ontario, has made an immediate impact in his first season with West Chester and was named to the USPHL Premier U18 Prospects All-Star Team. Known for his mobility and composure, he has recorded 17 points (5G, 12A) in 28 games while logging significant minutes on the blue line against top competition.
Adding to the Wolves’ presence at the event, Head Coach Brian Leonard will serve as an Assistant Coach for the East All-Stars, further highlighting the organization’s impact across the league.
“This is a great honor for Max and Jacob and a reflection of the work they’ve put in all season,” Leonard said. “Both guys compete the right way every day and have earned this opportunity to represent our program on a league-wide stage. I’m excited to coach alongside some great staff and see our players compete with the best in the USPHL.”
The USPHL All-Star Games provide a premier platform for players to showcase their skills in front of junior and collegiate coaches, scouts, and hockey decision-makers from across North America. For McKay and Desjardins, the selection marks another important milestone in their development—and a point of pride for the Wolves Premier program.
