Offensive Breakout Sends Shanks to Lawrence Tech

The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that forward Aaron Shanks has committed to Lawrence Technological University to continue his academic and hockey career at the ACHA Division I level.
A native of Sarnia, ON, Shanks made a major impact with the Wolves Premier team during the 2025-26 season. The 5’11”, 225 lb forward emerged as a top offensive contributor, recording 48 points in 43 regular season games, followed by seven points in 10 playoff appearances.
After posting nine points during the 2024-25 season, Shanks took a significant step forward this year, becoming a key piece of the Wolves’ offense and a consistent presence in all situations.
Head Coach Brian Leonard spoke on Shanks’ development and performance.
“Aaron had a strong season for us and really took a big step in his game offensively. He competed hard every night and produced consistently. We’re excited to see him move on to Lawrence Tech,” said Leonard.
Shanks’ commitment highlights the continued development within the Wolves program, as players progress and earn opportunities at the collegiate level.
