The West Chester Wolves NCDC have announced the tendering of forward Michael Tracy, adding another high-motor, offensive-minded piece to the Wolves’ junior pipeline.
Tracy, an 18-year-old right-shot forward born in Texas, has built his game through competitive AAA environments and continued to elevate his production year over year. Most recently, he skated with Black Bear Academy 18U AAA, where he posted 36 points (16G, 20A) in 39 games, while also contributing 13 points in 20 THF games. His ability to generate offense while playing with pace and edge stood out throughout the season.
Head Coach & GM R.C. Lyke emphasized Tracy’s complete game and leadership qualities, “Tracy is a power forward who plays with high compete and pace. He can score, he can make plays, he’s physical, he has a heavy stick and wins battles in the tough areas all over the ice. He is a captain and leader for his team both on and off the ice this season. He is a culture kid that has a strong work ethic, compete level, details, and habits.”
Prior to Black Bear, Tracy spent time with Atlantic Coast Academy, producing 50 points in 42 games at the 18U AAA level, along with strong showings in EP Cup competition. His development path also includes time with the Dallas Penguins program and Texas high school hockey, giving him a diverse background and experience against a wide range of competition.
Associate Head Coach & Assistant GM Tyler Casillo echoed that sentiment, pointing to Tracy’s fit within the Wolves’ culture, “Tracy is a player we have identified as someone who fits our culture to a tee. He excels in the hard areas of the ice while bringing great pace and physicality.”
Known for his work rate, offensive instincts, and willingness to play inside the game, Tracy fits the Wolves’ identity of competitive, driven players focused on long-term development. The Wolves staff is excited to welcome him to West Chester and continue building his game at the junior level.
