The West Chester Wolves are making an early-season statement in just their second year in the NCDC, with two players earning Stars of the Week honors in the Atlantic Division. Defenseman Cole Jackson and goaltender Koen Webber both stood out in the Wolves’ weekend set against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

On the blue line, Buffalo native Cole Jackson showcased his steady two-way play, recording an assist in each game. Now with four points through seven contests, Jackson has emerged as a reliable presence in transition and puck movement. Head Coach and GM R.C. Lyke praised his growth:

“Cole is an Elite skater who really put in the work both on and off the ice this summer. His play from the start of the season has been a huge lift to our team... we are very excited to see him take the next step in his development this season in year two with our program.”

Between the pipes, St. Albert, Alberta native Koen Webber turned in a flawless 32-save shutout against the Knights. With a sparkling 1.50 GAA and .970 save percentage, Webber has cemented himself as a backbone for the Wolves. Coach Lyke highlighted his impact:

“Koen is a big goalie who moves very well and controls his rebounds. We have a great dynamic with our goaltending group this season and Koen has been a huge part of that both on and off the ice.”

With both Jackson and Webber leading the charge, the Wolves are proving in Season 2 that they have the skill, depth, and work ethic to compete every night in the Atlantic Division.
