West Chester Wolves Sign Emil Szepesi, Top Pick from the 2024 NCDC Draft

The West Chester Wolves are thrilled to announce the signing of Emil Szepesi, who was selected in Phase 2, Round 1 of the 2024 NCDC Draft. The 18-year-old forward from Sweden, standing 6'0" and weighing 200 pounds, brings an impressive track record and a wealth of experience from top youth leagues in his home country.

Szepesi's journey in hockey began with Hanvikens SK and saw him develop through the ranks of Flemingsbergs IK and Timrå IK. His stats speak volumes about his skill and potential. Over the past few seasons, he has consistently demonstrated his offensive prowess and playmaking abilities.

In the 2021-22 season, Szepesi showcased his talent with Flemingsbergs IK U16, racking up 25 points in 19 games in the U16 Div.1 and adding another 22 points in the J18 Div.1 league. His transition to Växjö Lakers HC J18 and later Timrå IK J18 and J20 saw him continue to excel. In the 2023-24 season with Timrå IK J20, Szepesi recorded 12 points in 41 games, competing at the highest junior level in Sweden.
