The West Chester Wolves NCDC team is proud to announce that captain Harrison Kinne has committed to Plymouth State University to continue his academic and hockey career.

A native of Swampscott, MA, Kinne served as captain for the Wolves during both the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, establishing himself as a key leader on and off the ice. The 6’3”, 216 lb defenseman brought a strong skating, puck moving, calm and reliable presence to the back end, and a team-first mentality throughout his time in West Chester.

Kinne produced offensively while handling top minutes and defensive responsibilities, recording 24 points in each of his two seasons with the Wolves. In 2 years Kinne appeared in 84 games recording 11 goals and 38 assists for 49 points with 36 PIM. His ability to contribute in all situations, combined with his leadership, made him a cornerstone in our NCDC lineup and a top defenseman in the entire league.

Head Coach and General Manager R.C. Lyke spoke on Kinne’s impact within the program.

“Harrison was a leader for us in every sense of the word. He set the standard in the locker room and on the ice, and he was someone our group relied on every day in all situations. Harrison won the NCDC Team Awards for “Top Defenseman” and “Team MVP” which was voted on by his teammates this season. We’re proud of what he accomplished here with the Wolves and the culture he has helped build. We are excited to see him continue his career both on and off the ice at Plymouth State for the next 4 years,” said Lyke.

Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo also emphasized Kinne’s role over the past two seasons.

“Kinne was a big part of our identity. He played huge minutes in every situation, and was a pleasure to watch grow and develop as a player and young man the last two seasons. He’s earned this opportunity, and we’re excited for him moving on,” said Casillo.

Kinne’s commitment reflects the Wolves’ continued focus on developing players both on and off the ice, preparing them for success at the collegiate level.
