The West Chester Wolves Premier are headed back to the playoffs — and this time, they’re going in as the top team in the Atlantic.

With a 35-6-1-1 record and 72 points, the Wolves have officially clinched the Atlantic Division and secured the #1 seed in the USPHL Premier Playoffs. Riding an 11-game win streak into the postseason, West Chester enters as the hottest team in the division and will host the entire opening round at PNY Sports Arena under the league’s best-of-three format for the top seed.

The Wolves were dominant from start to finish this season, leading the division in points percentage (.837) and allowing just 85 goals against — the lowest total in the Atlantic. Their balanced offense poured in 231 goals, while elite goaltending anchored the defensive structure all year. Wyatt Demers has been a backbone in net, posting a .929 save percentage and 1.50 goals-against average, giving the Wolves consistency and confidence every night.

This marks the second consecutive playoff appearance for the Wolves Premier and another major step forward for the program. With the Atlantic format set as 1 vs 8 in Round 1 (top seed hosting all games), West Chester awaits its official opponent. The matchup is still to be determined, but it will likely be either the Hershey Cubs or Rockets Hockey Club as final seeding is finalized.

Head Coach Brian Leonard knows what his group has built — and what still lies ahead, “I’m proud of the consistency and compete level this group has shown all season. Earning the #1 seed in a division this competitive says a lot about their commitment to doing things the right way. But our mindset doesn’t change — we’re focused on playing our best hockey now. The win streak is great momentum, but the goal is bigger.”

The Wolves will host Round 1 at PNY Sports Arena on March 4 (1:00 PM), March 5 (1:00 PM), and if necessary, March 8 (6:00 PM). The Den is ready — and playoff hockey is coming back to West Chester.
