The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that defenseman Alex Couture has committed to Neumann University (ACHA Division II) for the 2025-26 season.

Couture, an 18-year-old native of Stevensville, Maryland, brought consistency and poise to the Wolves’ blue line in his first season with the program. In 38 regular-season games, he tallied 2 goals and 8 assists, while also providing a strong defensive presence that carried over into the playoffs.

Prior to joining the Wolves, Couture gained valuable experience with the Hershey Cubs (USPHL Premier), Tri-City Eagles, and Archbishop Spalding High School. His development over the years has made him a dependable and well-rounded defender with a high compete level.

"Alex brought a calm, steady game to our backend all season," said Wolves Premier Head Coach Brian Leonard. "He’s a smart, team-first player who does all the little things right. Neumann is getting a great person and a great player."

Couture becomes the latest Wolves player to advance to the collegiate level, continuing the organization's mission of developing and moving players on to the next step in their hockey journey.
