The West Chester Wolves NCDC team is proud to announce that forward Brody Bess has committed to SUNY Potsdam for the 2026-27 season.

A Hershey, PA native, Bess earned his opportunity through hard work, consistency, and a relentless approach to the game. The right-shot forward appeared in 28 games for the Wolves this season, recording 11 points. Brody plays a reliable two-way style while possessing a high skillset that allows him to contribute in all situations.

Bess’ path to the NCAA level reflects his persistence and development through multiple junior levels, including time in the NA3HL, USPHL Premier, and NCDC levels. His ability to adapt, compete, and continue improving both on and off the ice has made him a valuable piece of every locker room he’s been part of.

“Brody is the type of player every coach wants,” said Head Coach & GM R.C. Lyke. “He shows up every day ready to work, competes hard, and does all the little things right. He’s earned this opportunity at SUNY Potsdam, and we’re excited to see him continue his career at the next level.”

Associate Head Coach & Assistant GM Tyler Casillo highlighted Bess’ character and growth throughout the season.

“Brody is a great example of what development looks like,” said Casillo. “He’s bought into the process, improved his game by working tirelessly every day, and proved he can contribute in a lot of different ways. Brody has become a true 200 ft player. We’re proud of him and excited for what’s ahead.”

With his commitment, Bess becomes another Wolves player advancing to the NCAA level, continuing the organization’s mission of developing and promoting players to the next stage of their careers.
