The West Chester Wolves NCDC are proud to announce that forward Sean Tyrie has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Worcester State University for the 2025-26 season.

Tyrie, a native of East Quogue, NY, brought energy and veteran leadership to the Wolves in their inaugural NCDC campaign. The 20-year-old forward appeared in 21 regular-season games, registering 6 goals and 3 assists, while also suiting up for both of the Wolves' playoff games. Known for his high motor skills and strong play on the forecheck, Tyrie made a consistent impact on both ends of the ice.

"Sean brought fun, character, and a strong work ethic to our team from day one," said Wolves Head Coach RC Lyke. "He’s a player that leads by example and has earned everything coming his way."

Tyrie’s junior hockey journey included time with the Utica Jr. Comets, Ogden Mustangs, and Omaha AAA, with standout offensive production in the USPHL Premier ranks before making the leap to the NCDC.

“Sean is the kind of player you love to coach,” said Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo. “He shows up every day ready to compete and always puts the team first. We’re excited to watch him thrive at the college level.”

Worcester State plays in the MASCAC and has a growing NCAA DIII program. Tyrie’s commitment is a testament to his perseverance and growth, and the Wolves organization is proud to have played a part in his development.

Congratulations, Sean!
