The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that forward Will McLaughlin has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey at West Virginia University for the 2025-2026 season.

A native of Yorktown, Virginia, McLaughlin brought size, experience, and consistency to the Wolves’ forward group in their inaugural USPHL Premier season. The 6’1”, 201-pound right-shot forward played in 37 regular-season games, recording 16 points (8 goals, 8 assists), and added another three playoff appearances to his resume.

McLaughlin’s junior journey has taken him through the Washington Little Caps and Richmond Generals organizations before making a name for himself last season with a 27-point campaign for the Atlanta Mad Hatters in USPHL Elite. His hard work and leadership have made him a valued part of the Wolves lineup and a deserving college commit.

“Will has been a steady and reliable presence for us all year,” said Wolves Head Coach Brian Leonard. “He plays the game the right way, leads by example, and is the kind of player every coach wants in the room. We’re proud of him and excited to see what he does at WVU.”

McLaughlin will join fellow Wolves goaltender AJ Golden at the Mountaineers program while continuing his academic and hockey journey at the collegiate level.

Congratulations, Will!
